The North Forsyth High School wrestling team now walks through the school with their heads held high as they bring home a victory from their recent Regional Competition. Placing Top 4 Regional Medalist the team also competed on February 7th and 8th at the GHSA Class AAAAAA East Sectional tournaments at Lowndes Country High School. Wrestling Coach Jarrad is delighted with the team’s success.

“They were excited but they realize this was just the first step in reaching their ultimate goal,” Coach Jarrard stated.

Many on the team performed better than team members before them, including Jackson Bardall who placed 4th and qualified for sectionals in his first varsity tournament.

“I am sure some of the guys were nervous, but the more experienced guys probably weren’t too nervous,” Coach Jarrad commented.

Altogether the team was ready to win. They faced their competitors with strength and experience. Although all competitions are demanding, the team pulled through. Excited for future competitions, North Forsyth High School congratulates their wrestlers for their victory, and wishes them luck at future competitions.
