Jaimee Davis, sophomore and Junior Varsity Lady Raiders catcher, stands on second base after her steal to second on a wild pitch at home plate. She caught for the entirety of the game for pitcher and junior, Courtney Walls.

With the girls pumped to play some softball, the Junior Varsity Lady Raiders softball team hustled onto the field last Thursday, September 25th, ready to dominate Habersham, who are also called the Raiders. Pitcher and junior, Courtney Walls, started the game and gave up zero runs to the opposing team. The game ended early due to the mercy rule (which calls for the game to be ended once the score surpasses an excessive amount) in the fifth inning, and the game ended at 8-0, earning another win for the Junior Varsity Lady Raiders.

The Varsity Lady Raiders played immediately after the Junior Varsity team. Freshman pitcher, Amber Jones, started off the game, allowing four runs to score in the first inning. In the second inning, the Lady Raiders came back with a bang, earning themselves three more runs to compete with Habersham. Unfortunately, the next few innings came with a disappointing loss of 11-3, favoring Habersham.
