JV Girls Cross Country Team Places Third in Meet

The North Forsyth High School Cross Country team traveled to Jasper, Georgia on Saturday, October 18th to compete in the Sharptop Invitational.  Out of 160 runners, five athletes from the Junior Varsity (JV) Girls team finished the 3.1 mile within the top 50 teams, earning the NFHS JV Girls 3rd place.  The Varsity Girls team placed 8th out of 19 teams with two runners finishing under 50th place.  Both the JV Boys and the Varsity Boys teams ended the race with one athlete ranking within 100th place.  The JV Boys team placed 13th out of 17 teams, and the Varsity Boys team placed 15th out of 22.
