The youth thank their sponsors by holding a message of ‘thank you’ in their picture. “Peer court is a good opportunity for youth to get involved in the community, meet new people and learn about the legal system” claims Jessica Stowe, the peer court leader here in Forsyth County. She goes on to say, “We have fourteen trained youth volunteers from the inaugural cohort, who are doing a great job. We look forward to growing this program with the youth of Forsyth County”.

Any high school student in Forsyth County who failed his or her math course during the school year has a chance to receive credit needed for a diploma via the Forsyth County Summer Math Academy. The Summer Math Academy will be held during the month of June at Otwell Middle School and is an option for any student enrolled in the Forsyth County School System.
