Spending time with friends and classmates outside of school and having a meal all together is a great experience. However, when it comes to picking a restaurant, it can be a muddle. Here are five restaurants in Cumming, GA, that students and staff have described as their favorites.

Though fancy, many students have chosen Olive Garden as their personal favorite. Olive Garden is an Italian-American restaurant known primarily for its distinctive breadsticks and pasta. #4: Texas Roadhouse
Known for its hand-cut steaks and ribs, Texas Roadhouse is a popular choice among students. This restaurant has been open in Ohio since 1993 and has a significant number of locations across the United States. It was founded by Kent Taylor and is one of the most common restaurants to have a countryside aesthetic and lifestyle.
#3: Chipotle
Chipotle Mexican Grill is another common and popular restaurant where many students choose to eat.
Founded by Steve Ells in 1993, Chipotle offers an engaging and inspired menu of burritos, tacos, and unique salads for all ages. It has approximately 3,800 locations worldwide.
#2: Hacienda
Hacienda Bar and Grill is a Mexican restaurant offering a diverse range of traditional Hispanic dishes. This restaurant serves margaritas, tacos, steaks and more in its locations across Georgia. It was founded in 1968 by Norberto Rodriguez.

#1: Chick-fil-A
Founded by S. Truett Cathy in 1946, Chick-fil-A is the oldest restaurant that most students have picked as their favorite. It was also established in Atlanta, GA. Their menu consists of various chicken sandwiches, salads, soups and their famous biscuits, which are sold at the carline on Friday mornings at North Forsyth High.
Of course, we cannot forget our three honorable mentions, which are small-business and family-owned restaurants in Cumming, Georgia.
Being our first honorable mention, Los Rios is a Mexican restaurant that was opened in 2009. It serves a variety of Quesadillas, Nachos and Dips, as well as seafood and more. It is a family-owned restaurant.
Rice Restaurant and Sushi Bar is our second honorable mention, a popular destination among students in Cumming. Rice serves Asian dishes such as Sushi, Noodles, Spring Rolls and even Mochi Ice Cream! It is also a family-owned restaurant that opened in 2005.
Provino’s Italian Restaurant has been open since 1977. Provino’s serves a wide range of seafood, pasta and even gluten-free dinners. It is mainly open for dinner; however, on weekends, it is also open for its Italian lunch.
