North Forsyth High School is known for its vast amount of clubs, activities, pathways and classes that it offers. Due to this environment swarming with options, some projects can fall through the cracks: an example is the school’s podcast, The RaiderCast.

The RaiderCast was created in the 2019-2020 school year by Mac Barren and Nick Tucker. However, there was not as much content due to the pandemic that happened in the second semester. But, now the team of podcasters have returned to action in order to solidify their place in the creative landscape of the school.

A small group of students work on the podcast. They write, edit, record and put together the podcast. Anyone can join the RaiderCast club. There are several different positions–such as editors, hosts and more–that can be held by students, and they all contribute to the success of the podcast.

The podcast can be found on streaming services such as the Podcasts app on the App Store and Spotify. There are currently 4 episodes with the most recent coming from this year’s Clubapalooza. Talk to Barren for more information.
