An innocent bystander
A little bunny hops along the bay,
with radical ears that flop to and fro,
and feet that kick up sand and mounds of clay,
slipping from rock to rock and not below.
Up comes a deer, quaint and with vast antlers,
then gather friends and found family now,
a whole bunch of amateurs and gamblers,
waiting to play poker with a lithe cow.
Down at the table, they sit and shuffle,
and watch the bunny, innocently,
on grass holds cash in a zippered duffle,
a knife then killed bunny insolently.
In conclusion, don’t gamble with a deer,
who knows knifework, because for life you fear.
