My lucky frog
Luck is strange
I mean, it’s truly deranged
The weirdest things bring us luck
Whether it’s numbers or letters or maybe just a feather
Now one must wonder
Where does it come from?
Some have stories of great glory
A penny found on the ground
A charm always worn around
Some are clear
Whilst others are truly strange
For me, it seems to be frogs
I can’t really remember the reason
A necklace with a frog
I wear without fail
No matter the season
It brings me good luck without rhyme or reason
Sometimes I wonder
How, when it rains or I see a frog hopping along
How they became so lucky to me
Who’s to say
Maybe one day we will all find our luck
