The blinding sun
Now with the sun awake for longer,
And its warmth radiating each time stronger,
I wait to welcome it with open arms,
To be greeted with its charms.
This time I will not have to linger away,
Because I know you will be here today.
Though the strong wind gushes
And the bright bird flushes,
I know you will not flee
Like all the forgotten footprints by the sea.
For nothing is truly everlasting,
Yet, I know you are lasting.
For once I would like to feel your tender embrace,
With all that awaits.
