Mrs. Phipps Chosen as Georgia Assistant Principal of the Year Finalist

NFHS’s very own Mrs. Phipps was chosen as one of the Georgia Assistant Principal of the Year finalists. Over the weekend of November 1 and 2, Mrs. Phipps traveled to Savannah to deliver a speech, along with many other administrators from around the state.

“The focus of my speech was to use a humorous approach to explore the word “rigorous” and how educators use that word to communicate expectations,” Phipps stated.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Phipps did not win the Assistant Principal of the Year award, but she was more than happy to represent North Forsyth High School.

“The experience was wonderful,” Mrs. Phipps said. “Just being a finalist and representing Forsyth County and North Forsyth High School was a great honor”.
