In the spirit of Homecoming, North Forsyth High School put on a door decorating contest the week of Oct. 26-30. Students and teachers displayed their artistic abilities by creating a door design that would later be judged by assistant principal Randy Herrin and cafeteria manager Kay Tidwell. Here are some door designs that made it into the contest:
1. HOSA & PALS “Breast Cancer Awareness” Door Design
2. Russian Club & International Thespian Society’s “Greek/Toga” Door Design
3. National Art Honors Society & Art Club’s “Rival Theme Crime Scene” Door Design
4. FFA & FCCLA’s “Safari” Door Design
5. Raider Band’s “Rival Competition Theme” Door Design
Though all door designs were award-worthy, National Art Honors Society & Art Club ended up winning the competition.
