NFHS Hosts Teacher Appreciation Breakfast
Students lined up to cheer and clap for teachers as they enter the café. Each teacher helps themselves to fresh and home-made foods that are provided by members of The National Honor Society to thank teachers for all that they do.
For the fourth year , Ms. Hiltbrand guided members of the National
Honor Society in a student-led event to encourage and thank teachers, the teacher appreciation breakfast. Before the event could be
conducted, Ms.Hiltbrand arranged a specific date and place to hold the event,
while being sure that there were no other conflicting events that would interfere
with the breakfast. Each student that decided to participate had to bring in a home-made dish. The teachers entered the cafe to applause, and then were personally thanked by the students for what they do in and
out of the classroom.
