The opening performance of the show was magical as the NFHS Raider Drama Cast Members, outfittedin a colorful array of costumes, took to the stage of the School’s Performing Arts Center to the delight of an appreciated audience full of adults and children. The costumes of the mermaids and various sea creatures glittered from the lights as performers danced and sang throughout the evening in a backdrop of underwater coral creations on stage. The musical compositions, choreography, and humor portrayed by the Cast were entertaining and enjoyable for all ages in attendance.

Savanna Grant (Ariel), Jacob Johnson (Prince Eric), Anthony Arena (King Triton), Alex Wiggs (Sebastian), Maddie Brown (Flounder), Jack Doyle (Scuttle), Tony Ditaranto (Chef Louis), Wesley Robinson (Grimsby), and Natalie Williamson (Ursula) were all fantastic in their leading roles. However, the entire CAST, when on stage together, made the school production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. come to life in a sea of enchanting color and sound that made for a memorable performance the School’s Drama Department can be extremely proud of.

Performance Dates & Times: Wednesday November 13, Thursday November 14, & Friday November 15 at 6:30pm and Saturday November 16 at 2:30PM & 6:30PM. Also, on Saturday November 16 at 9:00 & 11:00AM the High School Drama Department is sponsoring a special breakfast with Ariel and all of her friends from the Cast of the Show. Enjoy “King Tritans” famous mercakes and a host of other goodies while being entertained as the Cast members perform two numbers from the performance.
