North Forsyth Gives Back

Andrea Martin

The food pantry is almost full thanks to the generous donations of the North Forsyth community.

The holiday season tends to remind us how fortunate we are, and North Forsyth is no exception. Most people are unaware of the various ways North helps support its students and their families in times of economic difficulty. The counseling department is continually taking donations for its food pantry. The pantry at North Forsyth feeds about twenty families throughout the school year. This is made possible by the donations of students and the efforts of various clubs such as Beta club, Y club, and National Honor Society. Coal Mountain Baptist Church also frequently makes donations to the food pantry. During the holiday breaks students in need get extra food to enjoy over the long break. We all have a lot to be thankful for, so this holiday season give back to your friends at North by making a donation to the food pantry.
