The Swimming Raiders plunged into the Riverside Military Academy pool on Wednesday November 20th. The waves were kicked up when the girls 400 Freestyle Relay (Kaylyn Thomas SR, Elly Wagner SR, NicoleSullivan JR, and Rachel Sullivan FR) swam their hearts out in 3:32.60. This swift race gave the relay an AA-C (All American Consideration) time which demolished the State cut time of 4:12.00.

Other standout times for the girls were the 200 Medley Relay of Kelsey Robins SO, Emily Carroll JR, Kaylyn Thomas SR, and Rachel Sullivan FR with 6 seconds faster than State time and individually Rachel Sullivan qualifying for State in the 100 freestyle. The Girls team took first place over Holy Innocence.

On the Boys side of the pool, the relays were churning up the waves with the 200 Medley Relay of Noah Wagner SR, Ryan Brown SR, Owen Wickman FR, and Alejandro Garcia JR and the 400 Freestyle Relay of Gabe Brisuda SO, Owen Wickman FR, Tony Scheyer JR, and Alejandro Garcia JR both qualifying for State. The boys took second place behind Holy Innocence and ahead of the meet host Riverside Military Academy. The Swimming Raiders will compete again on Saturday December 7th Center at the West Forsyth Invitational.
