The winning team poses with the winning robot and the award.

The North Forsyth Robotics team won an Excellence Award during the Coastal VEX State Qualifier, which qualified the team for State and Nationals on January 11, 2014. The Award was given to the following team members: Senior Sydney Wright, Senior Brady Roose, and Senior Conner Wilson.

“We won the Excellence Award, which means that we were the best team overall, were ranked based on: how well we did, the qualifying rankings, the notebook, and sportsmanship,” Brady Roose said.
