The varsity girl basketball team so far is 18-1 overall and 8-0 in the region. These lady raiders have worked hard this year to get where they are. Their national rank is 299 and their state rank is 11. A few of their games have been a close call but the rest were blow outs. We lost our first game against St. Francis by one point it was the first loss of the season, but that won’t get us down. We don’t need to let one loss bring the team down, but rather use it to motivate them to win the other game. Coach Herrick, the Lady Raiders coach, has been nominated for double-goal coach award.
