This past weekend, the NFHS DECA program participated at the GA DECA Career Development Conference.  This took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Atlanta.  Students had the opportunity to compete against the best in the competitive events program.  Leadership workshops and training were also offered.

Many DECA members performed well at this conference.  Nicole Sullivan placed 2^nd overall in the Buying & Merchandising – Online Testing category and 5^th overall in the Advertising Campaign category.  Megan Oswalt placed 5^th overall in the Entrepreneurship Written category.  Cody Gonsowski placed 5^th overall in the Entrepreneurship Participating – Independent Business category, and Kory and Kyle Hickox placed 3^rd overall in the Sports & Entertainment Promotion Plan category.
