GA DECA Reads

Jade Flack, Staff Writer

Georgia DECA community service project this year is the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Literacy Project. New or lightly used books are being collected to be donated to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and other local charities. DECA originally set their goal to collect 100 books; however, they have surpassed 100 and now intend to collect 200.

Any new or lightly used books may be dropped off in the collection box in the atrium, in the Raider Station, or in room 305. DECA will be collecting the books through February 2015.

Follow DECA’s twitter account @NOFO_DECA for more information, updates on the campaign, and facts about illiteracy.
