Students recognized by US Veterans in Essay Competition
May 11, 2015
If Noah Ridings and Conrad Patrick are in the hallway, stop to congratulate them. They’ve just been recognized by Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States in the Voice of Democracy Audio Essay Competition. The VFW established the Voice of Democracy program in 1947 to provide students in the grades 9-12 the opportunity to express themselves in regards to democratic ideas and principles, and since almost 40,000 students enter each year, it’s a huge honor that two students from our school were recognized. Noah, Conrad, may your future writing efforts reward you.
