As for the rides, The fair has added in new rides such as the Surfer, which is similar to the X Factor, but moves faster and higher. The cyclops has returned for another year along with the Mantis. Senior Anthony Dimola stated “Mantis is by far my favorite ride. I love the adrenaline rush when the ride stays upside down.” The fair also includes calming rides such as the sky buckets and the Ferris wheel. Senior Adrian Pascual explained “The Ferris wheel is my favorite ride to just enjoy the moment and maybe even go up there with a pretty girl.”

The Fairgrounds features numerous numbers of food trucks on both sides of the premises. These food trucks include foods such as burgers, hot dogs, and fries. For people that enjoy sweets, these food trucks offer fried oreos and funnel cakes. Senior Cami Tingler states “I only go to the fair for the food, but occasionally I will go on a ride but hope to not get sick.”

The Cumming Fairgrounds will depart on Sunday, Oct. 13 and will not return for another year.

Tickets will remain the same price along with unlimited rides included the whole week.
