Sending Off The Student Athletes to College

National Sports Signing Day is a huge day for student athletes and for their  parents as well. This event took place in the PAC at 10:30 a.m on Wednesday the thirteenth. There were  lots of smiles and a congratulatory mood as students step into their future with their selected college choices. Other North Forsyth High School students came out to support their fellow students and their achievements. Brandi Helms, who was invited, said, “It’s cool how everyone is decorated for their individual colleges.” Abby Martin says,” I’m blessed to have the opportunity to play at the next level. I have so many feelings words cannot express.”

The softball players that committed include: 

Kyleigh Sanders-Truett Mcconnell University. 

Abby Martin-Samford University. 

Anslee Anderson-Shorter University. 

Sarah Lowe-Union University. 

Mallorie Black-Georgia Tech. 

North had one cross country athlete, Caleb Hall, who is going to Mississippi College, and one lacrosse player, Cris Smith, who is going to Montreat College. 

The baseball players include :

Miles Hartsfield-Georgia South Western University

Anthony DiMola-Georgia Southern

Garrett Staton-Samford University

  Noah Gilbert-Emmanuel University
