North Forsyth High School performed their annual Prom Fashion show at the P.A.C. on Thursday, Feb. 13. This years prom theme has not been revealed as of late February, however “Puttin’ on the Ritz”, meaning to dress fashionably, was the theme for the prom fashion show this year organized by North Forsyth’s student council. Southern Charm Social, a formal wear store in Roswell, Ga. sponsored the event as all the models wore fitted suits and dresses from their store.

The show started at 7 p.m. and seniors Austin Gazaway and Samantha Sayer introduced themselves as well as announced the Prom Fashion Show King and Queen at the end of the night. Seniors Ireland Ashburn and Julia Vera opened the show with their performance, singing “Magic in the Man” from the musical “Big Fish” before the first round of models walked the stage.

The second performance of the night included juniors Justin Moore and Owen Malone and seniors Haylee Wicks and Madison Hinckley singing and tap dancing along to “I Got Rhythm” from the musical “Crazy for You”.

For the final performance of the night, North Forsyth’s dance team put on a show before more models walked the stage with different dresses and suits.

In the end, all juniors and seniors were on stage for the final revel of prom king and queen: Connor Sosebee and Anslee Anderson. When the show ended, family and friends could take pictures outside the P.A.C. where booths were decorated according to theme.

“I felt amazed by how many people were there to support us,” Senior Anes Ribic quotes. “We did put a lot of hard work and it payed off in the end. And Southern Charms did an amazing job as well, all the guys liked their suits in the end.”
