North Forsyth High school’s musical theater class is bringing Mary Poppins Jr. onto the stage. It is starring students Nina Vail (Mary Poppins), Noah Colwell (Bert), Sophie Jerry (Jane Banks), and Adam Norton (Michael Banks). It will be at North’s Performing Arts Center (PAC) on March 5-7. Tickets are available on the online box office or at the front of the PAC.

Mary Poppins Jr. is set in 1910 England. The play begins by introducing the rather troubling Banks family. The children Jane and Michael with their crazy antics send home nanny after nanny. Until Mary Poppins arrives at their doorstep. Using magic and a little common sense, she teaches each family member the importance of love and family.

Sophie Jerry who is playing Jane Banks said, “The thing that makes me the most nervous about opening night is that it’s my first show as a lead part… Our show is so great for families, you can take your younger siblings and family members to the show and they’ll have a great time.”

The facility and students at North cannot wait to see the musical theater department bring Mary Poppins Jr. to life!
