North Forsyth’s varsity softball team hosted Gainesville for senior night and won 15-0 in only three innings on Monday, Sept. 28. Senior, #34, Haley Mize started out the game pitching, only allowing one hit in two innings. 

Mize also contributed batting in the game, as she went two for two with an inside the park home run to boost the Lady Raider’s lead.

 It was only frustration from Gainesville’s coaching staff as they allowed six runs in the first inning, which included six straight walks with only one strike thrown. 

The Lady Raiders batted around in the second inning putting across nine runs to close out the game. 

After the game, senior shortstop, #3, Ashleigh Grace said, “Winning on senior night means a lot, it feels really good to win our last game in Raider Valley.” The Lady Raiders improved to 13-8 on the season while Gainesville remains winless.
