Simple, Yet Delicious Deviled Eggs Recipe
Ever wondered how to make delicious deviled eggs that the whole family can enjoy? Here is a very simple recipe that is sure to do the trick.
Deviled eggs are an easy make for an appetizer or just a snack. They don’t require much time or effort, and they can be made in mass amounts. All you need is a dozen eggs and a few other ingredients. This recipe can be doubled or reduced to however many eggs are needed.
Ingredients:
12 eggs
⅓ cup mayonnaise
Juice from half of a lemon
2 teaspoons of dijon or yellow mustard (based on your preference)
Salt and pepper to taste
Paprika to taste (optional)
Directions:
- Bring water and eggs to a boil for 10 to 15 minutes then drain and cool.
- After the eggs cool, peel and rinse them. Once dry, cut the eggs in half vertically down the middle and remove the yolks.
- In a small bowl, mix in the mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper with the yolks.
- Next, place the mix into a pastry bag or a plastic bag with the end snipped off to evenly spread the mix back into the eggs where the yolks used to be (or it could be scooped with a spoon).
- Lastly, sprinkle the desired amount of paprika over the eggs and enjoy!
