DECA’s Phenomenal State CDC Results

On Jan. 27-29, North Forsyth’s DECA traveled to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta for their State Career Development Conference (CDC). Over those few days, North Forsyth DECA engaged in workshops, leadership sessions and competitive events. At the Grand Awards session on Saturday, Jan. 29, North Forsyth’s DECA had numerous finalists in competitive events and had one DECA officer elected as a state officer.

 

The competitive event winners are as follows:

  • Savannah Boggs & Skylar Gaul– finalists in Marketing Management Team Event
  • Abby Shoemaker & Tess Goudy– finalists in Travel & Tourism Team Event
  • Kendall Martin, Bailey Sanders & Olivia Valente– finalists in Integrated Marketing Plan– Service
  • Madelynn Britt, Peyton Seals & Ella Clem– finalists in Integrated Marketing Plan– Product
  • Abby Shoemaker– finalist in Independent Business Plan
  • Blake Rust– finalist in Principles of Finance
  • Madison Francisco– finalist in Marketing Communications

 

These competitive event winners will move on to the next level of competition at DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC).

 

The newly elected State Vice President of Leadership is Tucker Lea.
