There’s always something ugly within us, 

Even in the most beautiful of things.

An apple could look red and crisp outside 

But inside it’s bad and rotten.

Sometimes we don’t even look at the uglies in ourselves, 

In the world and in each other. 

We are all just blinded by beauty. 

We don’t see the ugly, the rotten, the cruelty.

The ugliest things are within the most unexpected.
