Let’s take a deep dive into the local restaurants here in Cumming. We visited Los Rios on Sept. 18, they are located in the Cumming City Center in downtown Cumming. The location itself is a fun place for families and friends to go for a fun day.
The first impression of the restaurant was that it was very clean and comforting. On the side of the restaurant there is a mural that makes the place look amazing.
Next to the restaurant was a Cantina, which is a perfect place for any adults that would like a drink. Both places have the same owner and have similar aesthetics to each other.
When walking in customers are greeted by workers, who are very friendly and sweet. Customers will go up and create their own bowl, burrito or nachos. There are different options of protein and vegetables that can be chosen from.
I had ordered a burrito bowl with white rice, steak, corn, pico de gallo and guacamole. The bowl itself had cost $13 and a fountain drink was $3. After ordering, customers will go get their drink as well as any condiments and utensils that are needed.
The food was delicious and is perfect for anyone that does not like too much seasoning. The protein was well cooked and served in a mix of slices and cubes. The corn was paired with beans already mixed in, however the bean flavor was not overpowering.
“The service was good, they were really nice and it was quick to get our stuff. The food was amazing, really good and had a lot of options,” North Forsyth Senior Sophia Gauthier stated after being asked about her experience.
Overall Los Rios was a great experience and is highly recommended amongst many people in the area.
