People young and old have their own Halloween candy preferences, especially when trick-or-treating this Halloween season. Some candies, they may eat when given while trick-or-treating, and some of which they may not eat. But which one is the best Halloween candy?
There are several reasons why Reese’s is the best Halloween candy. The first of which is the color. As everyone knows, the wrapper is orange and the candy itself is brown. Brown and orange are both colors associated not only with Halloween but with fall as a whole as well. Leaves turn orange and brown in the fall, and pumpkins, a staple of the season, are also orange. What about the flavor and texture of Reese’s in general? Reese’s combines peanut butter and chocolate, which are two immensely popular and tasty flavors themselves. The combination of both creates the irresistible peanut butter-chocolate sensation that you get from Reese’s. Meanwhile, for the texture, the relatively hard outer edge of the candy surrounds a softer and smoother middle.
Also, Reese’s comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, which are changed for seasonal festivities. Around Halloween, it comes in shapes such as pumpkins, bats and ghosts, which makes them a fun and seasonally appropriate candy to have. Lastly, how could I forget their commercials? Reese’s has some of the most well-known commercials, which also change during the fall and Halloween seasons. Their commercials give off fun, playfully humorous and sometimes spooky vibes. No other candy companies—or companies in general for that matter—put as much effort into branding and advertising as Reese’s does this time of year.
