In my mind, I sink
Thoughts swirl around
Before I can blink
Light being out of reach
Drowned by the weights of my dreams
I reach for air that isn’t here
My thoughts like a current
Pulling me down
I swim, but only sink,
Through doubt I cannot hide
Each wave crashing like a blow
A never ending storm
I yearn to break the chain,
But my mind keeps sinking
Going too deep,
Wondering if I’ll ever breathe
| Hiii my name is Rohani Nguyen. I am a senior this year and I am one of three editors-in-chief. My hobbies include reading as well as photography. I love photographing sports events at school and portraits as well. I am the second youngest out of 5 kids. In my free time I also love drawing and being creative. I am excited to go into this year and create an environment where everyone feels comfortable. I can’t wait to work with everyone this year and love too see how this year ends!! |
