February’s student of the month is tenth grader, Shreyas Boddan, who has been selected for his active participation in various clubs, including DECA, FBLA, Student council and many more.
Boddani is a versatile student. Some of his hobbies include playing squash, spending time with his friends, family and cooking. His favorite thing to cook and eat is Chicken Biryani.
When it comes to music Boddani is “all over the place.” You will always see him wearing his headphones and listening to music. Currently his favorite artist is Bruno Mars, but for a person who loves music, almost all music will appear on his playlist. His favorite movie is Interstellar, “a classic.”
Another reason why Boddani is selected for Student of the Month is his advancement to SLC for FBLA. Boddani placed in regionals and is now going to compete at the state level in march. Along with placing for FBLA, he also placed in the top 20 in regionals for DECA, giving Boddani a chance to be selected for state.
Although Boddani doesn’t hold many club positions he is the vice president of his own club, Vt Seva, which he created with his friend. The club collaborates with FBLA, providing service opportunities for students. Boddani plans “to get more leadership positions” next year.
A priority for Boddani would certainly be talking with his friends. Around them you can’t “predict what [he is] gonna say.” It might seem like Boddani is an extrovert, but he considers himself an “ambivert.” Meaning he’s the perfect mix of an introvert and extrovert. Another word he uses to describe himself is “diligent.” Boddani never procrastinates and gets his work done. He values work over everything else.
Boddani is an amazing student and person. His versatility, personality and ambitions make him who he is. He is incredibly involved in his society and sticks to his values. There are several words which could show an aspect of him diligent, ambivert, no filter, versatile, amazing yet none of them could completely describe him. He has certainly earned the title of February’s student of the month.
