An Arctic sea in turmoil.
A storm was approaching.
The sky darkened,
The seas opened up,
And the heavens shook.
A storm was approaching.
The seagulls called in terror,
The humans scattered,
And the angels cried.
The storm was coming,
And they all prayed.
The storm was there
And they couldn’t flee.
The storm was upon them,
With no escape for anyone in sight.
Everyone cried out,
All were swept beneath the tide.
The storm was there,
All around them.
The ocean screamed in rage.
No one was spared.
Nature is a fickle thing,
The sailor thought
As he sank and sank
Into the deep blue.
The storm had come,
Swept everything away,
Now, all was quiet and calm.
No one was there.
The storm had come,
And with it, annihilation.
