The school year is coming to a close, and what a better way to end the year than with a musical from the PAC? On May 8 at 6:00 pm, the PAC is proud to present “Into The Woods Jr,” a one act musical about a baker and his wife who wish to have a child, learning about a curse cast by a witch which makes it impossible for them to have children. The only way to lift the curse is to find four magical items that lie in the scariest place in the area: The Woods.
When Hailey Rutledge, who plays the starring role of The Baker’s Wife, was asked about her experience so far with the cast, she says, “[This cast is] great, everyone is so sweet and they all put in a lot of effort. I’m so excited for this show and can’t wait to put it all together.”
When asked the same questions, Jordan Holton, who plays the role of Jack’s Mother, stated that “Working with the cast has been absolutely wonderful, they are all hilarious and really talented, and it makes me look forward to every rehearsal.” When asked about performing, she stated: “I’m very excited about the show, though I am, of course, a little nervous since I’ve never had a role like this before, but I have the best of hopes out for myself and everyone else involved.”
When questioned about her reaction to receiving her role, Jordan said that “I was very excited to see my role, it was my second time auditioning for something after having a few issues with self confidence, and to get a named role in the show absolutely blew my mind.”
This show is funny, fast paced, and has multiple memorable moments and musical numbers you won’t want to miss out on. Ranging from characters from Cinderella, to Little Red Riding Hood, to Jack and the Beanstalk, everyone has their own adventure in the woods. We can’t wait to see you there!
