North Forsyth High school’s defensive and tight end, Adriel Rojas, has been gaining some serious traction this season. As the 25-26 school year marks his junior year, he already has 23 D1 offers.
Rojas began his football career in sixth grade at Lakeside Middle School in Forsyth County. He began playing offensive line; however, as his career progressed, he shifted to defensive line, now specializing as a tight end and defensive end.
The first offer Rojas received was in January of 2025 from Miami University, Ohio. Rojas then continued to receive offers from Duke, Georgia Tech, Baylor, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Stanford, North Carolina State, University of Miami, University of Georgia, Ohio State, Auburn University and most recently Ole Miss. Rojas received another 10 as well. When speaking to Rojas about all of these offers, he said, “All of this is such a blessing, I am so lucky.”
Along with his extensive career, he also has impressive stats in the weight room. Rojas said, “I’ve got a couple of good maxes in the weight room: 500 pound squat, 315 power clean, 280 bench.”
During the off-season, Rojas performs for North’s track and field. Rojas is on discus and shot put; he even qualified for regionals as a sophomore.
When asked about how he feels about North Forsyth’s football team, Rojas said, “I feel really good about our team this year. I definitely feel like our team’s a very disciplined team…We have a lot of guys that aren’t like selfish players, and more like team players.” Rojas, as well as many others, strongly agree that North is a very connected and special place, especially the atmosphere surrounding the many sports and extracurricular activities.
Rojas is excited to move on to new chapters, and as he prepares to finish his junior season and looks toward his senior one, his focus is on doing his best every time he defends Raider Nation and continuing to make a name for himself in the D1 world.
