Marissa Rothstein is just your average freshman at North Forsyth High School who enjoys writing, she is excited to start her first year of journalism. Marissa loves cheering on the football team on the sidelines. She has been cheering since the middle of elementary school. Rothstein says her favorite vacation spot is Southern California since most of her family lives out there. When it comes to free time, you’ll catch Marissa binging her favorite netflix show, The Vampire Diaries, listening to a wide variety of music, spending time with her friends, or chilling by the poolside. Marissa loves fall and spring but summer is a little rough for her because her hair gets very frizzy. Since Marissa is decent at cheer, the only real sport she’s actually okay at is ping pong (I know, LAME). A big part of Marissa’s life is God, she always tries her best to follow and spread His word. Lastly, Marissa’s favorite thing is to laugh and to make people laugh.
