Sydney Elizabeth Bell Gage, also known as Syd or Squid, was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Wednesday May 21^st, 1997.  She enjoys writing, reading, using the word “gross” in unconventional ways, and acting tougher than she really is.  Those who know her well also understand she has an unhealthy obsession with rings, heels, sunglasses, and sonnets.  Although it may not seem rational, Sydney is unbelievably determined to attend the University of Honolulu, to major in English, and to publish the book that she is currently completing.  Despite her expectations at the beginning of her high school career, she has collected a plethora of wonderfully close friends that she hopes never to lose.  Sydney takes writing very seriously and considers it her lot in life, her link to the world, and the key to her happiness…among other things.
