On Sunday the 29th University of Georgia’s star quarterback was arrested due to intoxication charges. Stetson Bennett was banging on doors that night as police were called and found him to be intoxicated leading them to take him into custody.

The famous quarterback who led the Bulldogs to back-to-back National Championships, was also awarded the Manning award and was named the offensive MVP in both wins in the CFP. The CFP wins included the win against Ohio State and the win against TCU. Wrapping his college career up with two National Championships and his career stats including 8,428 passing yards with 66 touchdowns after the win against TCU. After leading the Bulldogs in a win against TCU to win another National Championship he was on his way to the NFL draft.

The National Championship game was a complete blowout on TCU the Bulldogs dominated. The game was held at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. In the first quarter the Bulldogs scored two touchdowns and one field goal for a score of 17. Already clutching the lead by 10 points.

In the second quarter TCU kept the same score due to the Bulldog defense. While the Bulldogs raised their score to 38. The ending score of the second quarter was 7-38. The third quarter continued with the Bulldogs dominating with the ending score of 7-52.

The fourth quarter was still handled well by Stetson for another touchdown making the final score 7-65. Making the Georgia Bulldogs the 2023 National Champs. Sadly ending Stetsons college career but he decided to hopefully continue on to the NFL.

While practicing for the NFL was when he was arrested from banging on peoples doors while intoxicated at around 6 a.m. Bennett, 25, was taken into custody at the City Detention Center in Dallas. Bennett was released Sunday morning without responding to the questions from social media.
