A Fangirl Experience

As two authors walk in front of a fangirl, a squeal escapes from her lips. After crossing an intersection, she takes her phone out to capture the moment.

I feel the cold wind burn my face

As I walk through the streets of Charleston.

Constantly saying goodbye:

To chances,

To people,

To unforgettable moments.

Intersections are my directions,

Turn left,

Turn right,

Cross the road and keep going straight.

Signs tell me if I have gone too far

Or not far enough.

I recognize certain people

And a squeal escapes

From my inner fangirl.
