Nana, A Poem

Pink dogwood tree.

Faeries dance in her voice
Wildflowers bloom in her soul
Her eyes are sunny skies
Her arms, an everlasting home

Grace shines through her skin
Her heart holds peace
Her smile is gentle
She is soft in her speech

She’s as lovely as lavender
As warm as Earl Grey tea
She is concern, she is compassion
She is elegant honesty

She appreciates all, an artist
Who paints, who creates, who is beauty
She sees the world
And accepts it patiently

She is constant, she is careful
She’s a masterpiece of rich memories
She is insight, she is love
And forever a part of me
