Over the last five years, Swedish producer Alessandro Lindlbad, i.e. Alesso, has amassed over 100 million plays on YouTube., two and a half million Facebook likes, and 900 thousand Twitter followers along with a Grammy nomination and international acclaim – quite a long way from his humble beginnings as an eighteen-year-old, self-taught producer, tinkering along to tracks in his Stockholm bedroom in early 2011. After uploading a couple of remixes to the website Beatport, Lindlbad’s efforts were noticed by Swedish House Mafia’s Sebastian Ingrosso, and his trek to worldwide fame was illuminated. Under the tutelage of Ingrosso, Alesso shot into the worldwide EDM (Electronic Dance Music) scene with a burst of passion and earned Billboard #1 status with his remix of Nadia Ali’s Pressure. In 2012, he opened for Madonna on her MDMA tour and released a myriad of commercially successful remixes with the likes of David Guetta and One Republic, propelling him further into the public spotlight. Since then, he has played sold-out shows to millions, becoming a fan favorite at festivals like Coachella. Hs is currently preparing for a residency in Las Vergas and booking studio time with R&B megastar, Usher.
