Rain
November 2, 2015
I rest,
A lonely glimmer of gleaming sunlight
In a trail of bulky gray nimbus clouds.
Rain vaguely pelts my face in an innocent dance.
It plummets down; a waterfall on my rosy, wind-burnt cheeks,
A wet, glinting stream of glory as it conquers my physical being.
It reminds me of you.
The way you used to kiss;
My cheeks,
My hands,
My nose,
My forehead.
All lost in a sea of vicious rain.
The clouds rumble in towards my heart,
They roll in rapidly with every screeching scream,
Deeper and deeper,
The tears commence to trickle heavily off of my soaked face.
You won’t see them though.
They are forever vanished in the rain;
Along with our love.
