Time is something we can not control
It is not something we can hold
Time is something that goes by
While we just sit and spy
As we face our troubles we get down
But the good times always come back around
We don’t realize how fast time moves
We just live each day like we disapprove
When you think you’ve caught up in life
Time can cut you down like a knife
While some spend time with others
I spend my time with my brothers
Some use their time to better themselves physically
I spend my time improving myself mentally
Physical features attract eyes and give off a glow
Mental features attract life skills that do not show
They say time takes a toll on your memory
But as time passes it only improves my memory
Some try to forget the people in their lives
But with a mention of their name, my memory dives
While others worry about their time running out
I look forward to seeing what my future is about
As time goes on people change their ways
But with change their past life is just a gaze
I strive to stay just as I am
For with change, I have no plan
They say my life has ups and downs
But I’m still searching for that single-up
