In the dark night, a lone star shines,
With a soft glow, it silently whines.
In the big sky, it feels so alone,
Longing for a friend to call its own.
Amidst the twinkling, it holds its place,
Wishing for someone to share its space.
But even though it’s just one tiny light,
It tries to make the darkness seem bright.
In its lonely gleam, it sends out a spark,
A little hope in the dark,
Like a secret whispered in the night,
A lonely star, but its glow is still bright.
