Heaviness weighs on me like a blanket,
Churning,
Wavering,
Waiting.
Sadness clouds me,
Down, down, down I go.
Trembling,
Breaking.
Bleak eyes peer out of my face,
Dark,
Gray,
Nothingness.
Doves slaughtered at the break of dawn,
Crumbling,
Waning,
Shattering.
The earth shakes,
The darkness claims us,
One
By one.
