Quick DIY Christmas Gifts
January 8, 2016
Although we all hate to admit it, we all forget to buy Christmas gifts for each other at some point in our lives. For this reason, I have compiled a list of DIY quick Christmas gifts so you can make sure nobody is excluded this Christmas.
1). Hot Chocolate Snowmen
For the first gift, you will need are three small jars, a small cloth of any color you would like, paint or markers, a black cloth, glue, marshmallows, peppermints, and hot chocolate mix. First, you put the marshmallows, peppermints, and hot chocolate mix into each of the three jars. Next, you stack the jars in whichever order you prefer and paint a snowman face on the top jar. In the middle one, paint two dots to represent the coal pieces on a snowman’s stomach. Then, you would paint the top cap of the jar all black and tape the black cloth around the cap to make the hat. Finally, you would wrap the cloth right below the top jar to make its scarf. Anybody is sure to appreciate this small but thoughtful gift, along with its contents.
2) Christmas Mug
For this simple gift, you will only need candy, a plain white mug, and paint. This gift can be handled in any way that you wish. You could paint the mug with Christmas trees, snow, a Christmas color design, or anything in the Christmas spirit and fill it with candy.
3). A Rudolph note or card
For this DIY, you will need a brown envelope, a note or card, tan colored paper, white printer paper, a sharpie, and red colored paper. First, cut a circle the size of a peppermint out of the red paper and two equally small circles out of the blank paper. Then, glue the red circle onto the middle of the envelope where they would open it without gluing the envelope together. Draw black, filled in circles anywhere you would like to make the eyes and glue them above the red nose. Finally, cut the tan paper to form the antlers, tape them at the top of the envelope, and put the note or card into the envelope. This is a fun and creative way to show appreciation towards friends or family around the Christmas season.
Enjoy your Christmas season and use these gift ideas if you use them!
