This Is Not For You

I had that dream again, where I wake up in the ocean, and the loneliness engulfs me, as I helplessly scream at an empty sky.

I had that dream again,
where I wake up in the ocean, and the loneliness engulfs me,
as I helplessly scream at an empty sky.

I woke up in a room,
Full of unfamiliar faces,
Of people I’m suppose to love,
Flirting with death between their fingers.

I had that dream again,
Where I’m stuck,
And my legs melt away,
And my body caves in.

All these trivial people around me,
And I still care about you,
And your lungs,
You can have mine.

I woke up alone,
With sun pouring in a familiar room,
And my body aches,
And bruises caress my pale skin.

Ignorance is not my bliss,
And truth avoids my eyes,
I should learn to accept scripted lines,
Though that make take some time.
