The Shows Must Go On

The dressing rooms are filled with numerous costumes for all occasions! Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan, Jr. are preparing to wow their audiences. Come and bring your friends for some serious Disney fun.

The NFHS drama department is opening the second semester curtain by juggling multiple productions. Filling the theatre with entertainment and laughs for all ages, the drama program will be putting on Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan Jr. The three children’s shows are opening on Wednesday, January 21. Peter Pan, Jr. will be performed twice, once at 9:30 A.M. and once at 10:45 A.M., and at 6:30 P.M. The cast for Winnie the Pooh will perform with Cast A of Alice in Wonderland directly after.

Thursday, January 22 the same shows will be performed at the same times, but Cast B will be performing for Alice in Wonderland. Friday night, January 23 Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan, Jr. will be put on back to back starting at 6:30 P.M. Saturday, January 24 will be the final running day for the shows. Winnie the Pooh will begin at 10:00 A.M. and Peter Pan, Jr. will follow directly after. At 2:00 P.M., Alice in Wonderland (Cast B) will be performing with Peter Pan, Jr. after. The last performance will take place at 6:30 P.M. with Alice in Wonderland (Cast A) and Peter Pan, Jr. after.

Students will not want to miss these awesome productions at the Performing Arts Center on campus. The three shows are all put on by different casts, so come support the drama program by watching these super talented students thrive.

Do not forget that the Thespian Conference Showcase, containing all Individual performances, college auditions, Ten Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse, and the One Act show The Passage will be Tuesday, February 3 at 7:00- 9:00 P.M.
