The times when you woke up early,

Ran a brush through your hair, 

Then called it a day.

Staying up late to try to see Santa,

Waking up early to open presents,

Spending the day playing with toys.

Now it’s waking up early to get ready for the day,

Spending hours fixing your hair,

Just to think it’s okay.

Spending all of your time inside,

Sitting on your phone for hours,

Looking to see who has done what,

Caring about everything someone has said.
