Roses are Red. 

Violets are Blue. 

That’s absolutely ridiculous. Why are Violets blue? Violets should be violet. It’s literally in the name. It really doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. 

I never understood why lovers give each other roses. Sure, roses are beautiful and whatnot. It’s a way to express your love. 

But roses also have thorns. 

And thorns hurt.

Maybe it’s to show the pain and heartbreak in the relationship? I wish I realized this earlier. 

Trust and Love are a bit funny, aren’t they? 

They both take forever to build. But it really only takes one small thing for everything to fall down. 

Like dominoes. Except we build and knock them down on purpose. 

It’s a fragile thing, the heart. You know you can die of heartbreak. That’s sad. We’re crying and losing our lives for someone who chose to leave us. 

Honestly, you have to appreciate those who are able to overcome heartbreak. Their trust and love both have been broken. That takes a toll on them. I mean are they ever able to trust or love a person ever again? I know I won’t. Assuming I get past this. I really hope I get past this. 

I really don’t want to be pricked by thorns ever again.
